Imamzadeh Yahya bin Zaid (AS), which is also known as Headless Imamzadeh, is one of the important places of pilgrimage in Razavi Khorasan province. This blessed tomb is located 50 km northeast of Mashhad and 38 km north of Razavieh city, near an old village called Miami.
History:
According to documents and traditions, Imamzadeh Yahya bin Zayd is one of the descendants of Imam Sajjad (AS) and one of the Sadat Hashemites. She traveled to Khorasan during the Umayyad rule and was martyred in the fight against oppression.
The nickname “Headless” was given to her because after her martyrdom, her head was cut off and taken to Damascus. But her holy body was taken to Miami by her friends and buried in this place.
Imamzadeh building:
Imamzadeh building of Yahya bin Zayd is one of the historical and religious buildings of Iran, which dates back to the Safavid period. This building has been renovated throughout history.
- Dome: The dome of Imamzadeh is a double-sided dome and is decorated with turquoise colored tiles.
- Porch: Porch of Imamzadeh is decorated with beautiful tiles and mirrors.
- Shrine: Imamzadeh shrine is made of silver and decorated with Quranic verses and Islamic motifs.
Pilgrimage attractions:
In addition to the holy shrine of Imamzadeh Yahya bin Zayd, there are also porticoes, courtyards, a library and a museum in this place of pilgrimage. Pilgrims can visit and pray in this place and visit its various places.

For the welfare of the pilgrims, various facilities such as a pilgrim’s house, restaurant, store and parking lot have been provided in this place.
Access path:
Pilgrims can reach Imamzadeh Yahya Bin Zayd through the Mashhad-Sarkhas road. Pilgrim buses and minibuses also travel from Mashhad to this place.
